Speedy Hire PLC07 February 2008 SPEEDY HIRE PLC ("SPEEDY HIRE" OR THE "COMPANY") Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") - Interest in Shares Speedy Hire announces the following changes to PDMR's interests in the Company'sordinary 5p shares ("Shares"). Sharesave Scheme Options granted on 23 December 2004 under the Company's all-employee SharesaveScheme (which became exercisable on 1 February 2008) were exercised on 1February 2008 by PDMR as set out in the table below. The exercise price of theoptions was £3.83 per Share and the exercise of the options was satisfied by theissue of new Shares by the Company.
