On 12 February 2010, the directors of Mattioli Woods plc (AIM: MTW.L) received notification that on the same day, Murray Smith, the Company's Marketing and Sales Director, sold 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 235 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Murray Smith's resultant beneficial interest is in 253,866 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.46% of the Company's issued share capital.
