Walker Crips Group plc announces that on the 30th September 2008 the Trustees of the Walker Crips Group Share Incentive Plan acquired 22,721 ordinary shares (comprising 9,901 Partnership shares, and 12,820 Matching shares) for the benefit of the participants of the Plan. The price paid by the participants was 64p. The Partnership shares will be used to satisfy employees' contributions to the Plan deducted from their September pay. The Matching shares are purchased for the employees' benefit by the Group and are subject to certain eligibility criteria.
A number of Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities within Walker Crips Group plc, as contributors to the plan, have acquired the following interests in the shares:-
