On 19th December 2012, the Company received notification that Mr Stephen Robertson, a Non-Executive Director, bought a total of 5,695 Hargreaves Lansdown PLC 0.4p ordinary shares at a price of 698.50 pence per share.

The total number of ordinary shares purchased represents 0.0012% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Mr Robertson's resultant shareholding is 16,914 ordinary shares which represents 0.0036% of issued share capital.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above Non-Executive Director. The transaction took place in Bristol on 19th December 2012.
