On 28 July 2008, 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 21 July 2008 Mr O H J Stocken, Deputy Chairman (and a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities), acquired 63 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") through a dividend re-investment at a price of 911.79p per Share. The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange. On 28 April 2009, the Company became aware that because of an administrative oversight this change in a Director's interests had not been notified.
