Caledonian Trust PLC15 February 2008 For immediate release 15 January 2008 Caledonian Trust PLC Trustee Appointment and Shareholding Caledonian Trust PLC ("the Company"), the Edinburgh-based property investmentholding and development company, announces that Michael J Baynham, FinanceDirector of the Company, has been appointed as a trustee of a Life Rent Trust("the Trust"), which holds 200,000 ordinary shares in Caledonian Trust PLC. MrBaynham has no beneficial interest in the shares held by the Trust. Mr Baynham's last notified holding in the Company was 730,191 ordinary shares,which included 955 ordinary shares held by his children. As his children havenow reached the age of eighteen, these shares are no longer included in MrBaynham's total shareholding in the Company. As such, Mr Baynham has anotifiable interest in 729,236 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 6.14per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
