Interests in the Ordinary Shares of Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company")The Company was notified on 24 October 2006 that the Trustees of Cable andWireless plc Employee Share Ownership Trust ("the Trust") disposed of 60,811Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£1.405 per share on 23 October 2006.Following the disposal, 41,628,369 Ordinary Shares are currently held under theTrust.
