Greene King PLC05 April 2007 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that on 4 April 2007, 578 shares in the company weretransferred by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, as trustee of theGreene King Employee Share Trust, to satisfy shares awarded to employees of thegroup. As a result of the transfer, Tim Bridge, Ian Bull, Rooney Anand, MarkAngela and David Elliott, who are beneficiaries of the trust, no longer have aninterest in the 578 shares in the company. This brings the number of shares inthe Company owned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust to a total of 668,546. This notification is made in accordance with rule 3.1.4 of the Disclosure Rules.
