Workspace Group PLC announces that on 8 December 2009, awards under the Workspace Long Term Equity Incentive Plan 2008 were made as follows in respect of ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company:

These awards have been satisfied by the trustees of the Workspace Group ESOT. No payment is due for the receipt or vesting of the awards however the grant of the awards is in consideration of the surrender of conditional share awards over the same number of shares made earlier this year. The awards are structured as a forfeitable co-ownership interest in shares combined with a linked option in respect of the relevant shares.
The vesting of the above awards is subject to meeting the same performance conditions as applied to the conditional share awards that were surrendered. Subject to those performance conditions being met, the awards will vest on 12 June 2012.
This announcement has been made for the purposes of DTR 3.1.2R.
