NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS BY DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
The Company was notified on 12 March 2012 that on 7 March 2012 Mr J B Stevens, an executive director and a person discharging managerial responsibilities, purchased 345 British American Tobacco p.l.c. shares ("the Shares") at a price of 3092.933 pence per Share.
Following this transaction, Mr Stevens has a total beneficial and family interest in 124,145 Shares (including 65,741 Deferred Shares).
