UMECO PLC19 March 2008 Umeco plc (the "Company") Umeco plc - Notification of changes in Directors & PDMRs interests 19 March 2008 The Company announces that Andrew Moss has today sold 9,000 ordinary shares of25 pence each in the Company (representing 0.02 per cent of the current issuedordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of 495.5 pence per ordinaryshare. Following this transaction, Andrew Moss' SIPP fund today purchased 9,000ordinary shares at a price of 495.83 pence per ordinary share (representing 0.02 per cent of the current issued ordinary share capital of the Company). Andrew Moss' total share holding in the Company remains unchanged at 87,043Ordinary Shares, representing 0.18 per cent of the current issued ordinary sharecapital of the Company. This holding includes 48,192 deferred shares held underthe terms of the Umeco Bonus Plan, representing 0.10 per cent of the currentissued ordinary share capital of the Company.
