On 9th March 2012, the Company received notification that Mr Alexander Davies, a PDMR, bought a total of 6,457 Hargreaves Lansdown PLC 0.4p ordinary shares at a price of 464.60 pence per share.

The total number of ordinary shares purchased represents 0.0014% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Mr Davies's resultant shareholding is 1,141,452 ordinary shares which represents 0.24% of issued share capital.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR. The transaction took place in Bristol on 9th March 2012.
