Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification

Following the clarification issued on 9 January 2009 by the Financial Services Authority in relation to the disclosure obligations under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of directors and other persons discharging managerial responsibilities who grant security over their companies' shares, The Sage Group plc ("Sage") has received notification from Mr T C W Ingram, a non-executive director of Sage, that on 6 April 2006 he entered into trust arrangements with Lloyd's of London in respect of 10,000 Sage ordinary shares of 1 pence each to provide security for insurance underwriting.
