Directors' Shareholdings
Acal plc (LSE : ACL, "Acal" or the "Group"), a leading European specialist electronics supplier, announces that it was notified yesterday and today of the following acquisitions of the Company's ordinary shares by Directors of the Company and their connected persons. These acquisitions took place pursuant to the 1 for 1 rights issue at 176 pence per new ordinary share announced by the Company on 5 June 2014.

1 The Company has been notified by Richard Moon that he has acquired 14,000 ordinary shares at a price of 385.88 pence per share. This acquisition is included in the totals of ordinary shares shown against his name above. He is also interested in Synergie Business Limited's holding of 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company (total holding following rights issue) because he is the Chairman of, and a shareholder in, that company. Consequently, following the rights issue, he will be interested in 67,600 ordinary shares in the Company (0.11% of the enlarged issued share capital).
