CANACCORD CAPITAL INC. DISCLOSES DIRECTOR'S DEALINGS Purchase of Canaccord shares
VANCOUVER, December 13, 2006 - Canaccord Capital Inc. announces that Mark G. Maybank, President & Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Corporation (the Company's Canadian operating subsidiary), and a Director and Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Inc., purchased on December 12, 2006, through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange, 10,400 common shares in the company at a price of C$18.20 per share. As a result, Mr. Maybank now holds 206,369 common shares in the company, representing 0.43% of the issued common shares of the company.
