Enterprise Inns PLC16 December 2005 Enterprise Inns plc (the 'Company') Director/PDMR Shareholding 16th December 2005 The Company announces that it has received notification from Halifax CorporateTrustees Limited (the 'Trustee'), as trustee of the Enterprise Inns 2005 ShareIncentive Plan (the 'SIP'), of the following transactions in the Company'sordinary shares of 5 pence: •that 44,914 ordinary shares were purchased at £9.19 per share on 15th December 2005 using participating employees gross salary ('Partnership Shares'); •that the Company matched the Partnership Shares purchased by participating employees and the Trustee purchased a further 44,914 ordinary shares at £9.19 per share ('Matching Shares') on 15th December 2005. Under the 2005 SIP offer to employees the Company gave participating employees 1Matching Share for each Partnership Share bought by them up to a maximum valueof £1,500 per annum per employee. A total of 89,828 ordinary shares (Partnership Shares and Matching Shares) wereallocated to employees under the rules of the SIP at £9.19 per share and held bythe Trustee.
