NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR VOTING INTEREST IN SHARES
Lookers plc (the Company) announces, that Mr Philip M White, the Chairman of Lookers plc, in his capacity as such holds the proxy on a discretionary basis for 4.87% of the issued share capital of Lookers or 8,820,694 ordinary shares of 5 pence each. The exercise of the discretion will be used for the Resolutions 1 to 15 to be put to the Annual General Meeting of the Company on Tuesday 13 May 2008 following which the interest will lapse save for Mr White's own holding.
Voting is one share one vote.
In compliance with the Disclosure Rules a copy of Form TR1 has been sent to the Financial Services Authority.
