Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company") has been advised today (4 August 2008) that Ken McFadyen, a PDMR, has undertaken the following transactions in the ordinary shares of the Company:
Acquisition of 6,000 shares at a price of 161.90 pence per share on 22nd July 2008; and Acquisition of 5,000 shares at a price of 162.88 pence per share on 31st July 2008.This disclosure relates to transactions notified in accordance with DTR3.1.4R(1)(a).
