MIAMI, July 16 -- Carnival Corporation & plc was notified that on July 13, 2007, Laura Weil, a member of Carnival Corporation & plc's boards of directors, purchased 2,500 shares of Carnival Corporation common stock at an average price of $47.5172 (USD) per share. Following this transaction, Weil owns directly or indirectly an aggregate of 5,000 shares of Carnival Corporation common stock, which includes 2,500 restricted stock units of Carnival Corporation.
