DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS
The Company has been notified that the following non-executive directors have acquired the following interests in its Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each ("ordinary shares").

As disclosed in the Company's 2010 annual report and financial statements, the remuneration of non-executive directors includes fees which are to be used to purchase shares twice each year.
The above number of ordinary shares were accordingly purchased on the London Stock Exchange on 21 April 2011, at a price of 220.5878 pence per share.
Notification of the above purchases on behalf of the non-executive directors was received by the Company on 21 April 2011.
Notification of each of the above transactions is now made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R.
