Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility
Spectris plc ("the Company") was today informed of the following transaction:
On 12 October 2007, Mr Roger Stephens, Company Secretary of the Company, exercised 25,000 options (0.02% of issued class). The options were exercised at a price of 900.3553p and the resulting shares were disposed. Mr Stephens' total beneficial holding following this transaction has remained at 40,000 shares (0.034% of issued class). There are 60,000 shares remaining under option.
