Greene King PLC15 November 2005 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that, on 14 November 2005, 2,000 new ordinary sharesin the company were transferred by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited,as trustee of the Greene King Employee Share Trust, to satisfy options exercisedby employees under the Greene King Executive Share Option Scheme 1994. As aresult of the transfer, Rooney Anand, Justin Adams, Mark Angela, David Elliottand Michael Shallow, who are beneficiaries of the trust, no longer have aninterest in the 2,000 shares in the company. This brings the number of newordinary shares in the Company owned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust toa total of 636,766.
