Hargreaves Lansdown plc (the "Company") received notification on 8th October from Alex Davies, a PDMR, that on 8th October 2012, he sold a total of 12,650 ordinary shares of 0.4 pence in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of 670p per share. The number of ordinary shares sold represented 0.0027% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Following this transaction, the beneficial shareholding of Alex Davies (including his connected persons) is 1,151,030 ordinary shares representing 0.24% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR.
