Greene King plc announces that today, 2 April 2013, Matthew Fearn, group finance director, bought 1,857 Greene King plc shares at a price of 699.4p per share, to be held in his name, and 1,635 Greene King plc shares, also at a price of 699.4p per share, to be held in his wife's name.

The total number of Greene King plc shares owned by Matthew Fearn and his connected persons is now 9,654.
