NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS BY DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
Notifications made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
The Company was notified on 12 December 2014 that on 12 December 2014 Mr Giovanni Giordano, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, purchased 1,000 British American Tobacco p.l.c. American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs"), represented by 2,000 British American Tobacco p.l.c. ordinary shares (the "Shares"), at a price of US$108.142 per ADR.
Following the above transaction, Mr Giordano has a total beneficial and family interest in 26,753 Shares (including 21,392 Deferred Shares).
