Director/PDMR Shareholding

NewRiver Retail Limited (AIM: NRR, "NewRiver" or the "Company"), the specialist value-creating retail property investment and asset management company, was informed on 4 May 2010 that Susie Farnon, a director of the Company, acquired an additional 5,000 ordinary shares of no par value ("Ordinary Shares") as a beneficiary following the distribution of assets from an estate. As a result of this transaction Susie Farnon is now interested in 25,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.17% of the Company's current issued share capital.
