Re: Interests in the Ordinary Shares of Cable and Wireless plcThe Company was notified on 6th September 2006 that on 5th September 2006 theTrustees of The Cable and Wireless plc Employee Share Ownership Trust ("theTrust") disposed of 40,127 Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£1.26 per share.Following the disposal, 42,151,099 Ordinary Shares are currently held under theTrust.
