Carillion PLC26 October 2005 Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust Interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities Carillion plc (the Company) was notified yesterday, Tuesday 25 October 2005,that the Carillion plc Employee Share Ownership Trust (the Trust) on Monday 24October 2005 transferred 103,833 Carillion plc ordinary shares of 50p each (lessthan 0.1% of the issued share capital) pursuant to the exercise of an optionunder the Carillion Executive Share Option Scheme. The number of Carillion plc ordinary shares now held by the Trust is 3,804,436(1.77% of the issued share capital).
