Lonmin PLC02 January 2008 Notification of Directors' and PDMRs' shareholdings pursuant to--------------------------------------------------------------- Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1-------------------------------------- The Company has today received notification from the Trustee of the LonminEmployee Benefit Trust, on behalf of the Trustee, Directors and PDMRs,thatDeferred Annual Bonus Plan Matched Awards made on 20 December 2004 under the Shareholder Value Incentive Plan vested on 27 December 2007 to the extent of60% resulting in the release, retention and sale of shares as detailed below,the latter being sold on 28 December 2007 at a price of £30.60. The sales by Mr Mills and Mr Farmer were to realise sufficient cash proceeds tosatisfy their liability for income tax on the vesting of the Matched Awards andthe balance of their shares have been retained.
