Kier Group PLC27 April 2007 Kier Group plc announces that on 27th April 2007 Mr John Dodds was allotted 590ordinary shares in the Company, following an exercise on that day of optionsunder the Kier Group Sharesave Scheme at an option price of £6.25. Following this transaction, Mr Dodds' total beneficial interest in KierGroup plc is 597,532 shares, representing 1.637% of the current issued sharecapital. The total number of ordinary shares of 1p in issue as at the date of this noticeis 36,504,407 shares, with each share carrying the right to one vote. The totalnumber of voting rights in the Company is therefore 36,504,407. There are no shares held in Treasury.
