Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") or Connected Persons

Hargreaves Lansdown plc has received notification today from Ian Hunter, a PDMR, that on 24 March 2015, he sold a total of 900 ordinary shares of 0.4 pence in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of £12.17 per share. The number of ordinary shares sold represented 0.0002% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Following these transactions, the beneficial shareholding of Ian Hunter (including his connected persons) is 570,621 ordinary shares representing 0.12% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR. The transactions took place in Bristol on 24 March 2015.
