AstraZeneca PLC27 February 2007 Transaction by Persons Discharging Managerial ResponsibilitiesDisclosure Rules DR 3.1.2R We hereby inform you that on 23 February 2007, the following individuals, whoare all persons discharging managerial responsibilities, acquired an interest inthe USD0.25 Ordinary Shares of AstraZeneca PLC or, in the case of A Zook, overthe Company's American Depositary Shares (ADSs). One ADS equals one OrdinaryShare. The interest arises as a result of the previously disclosed arrangementsrelating to the payment of annual bonuses for 2006 whereby each individual isrequired to defer a portion of the bonus earned into shares for a period ofthree years.
