Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R (1) (a).

On 2 March 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that:

1. Mr Robin Alec Bayford, Finance Director, has today acquired 8,300 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 120p each, representing 0.0036% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

Following the above acquisition, Mr Bayford and his connected parties combined beneficial interest in the Company is 847,061 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.3716% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

2. Mr William Nicholas Hood, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director, has today acquired 10,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 121p each, representing 0.0044% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

His resultant holding in the Company is now 75,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.0329% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

3. Mr Jamie Graham Matheson, Executive Chairman, has today acquired 11,379 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 121p each, representing 0.0050% of the total issued share capital of the Company

His resultant holding in the Company is now 478,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.2097% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

4. Mr David William McCorkell, Executive Director, has today acquired 10,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 121p each, representing 0.0044% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

His resultant holding in the Company is now 663,059 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.2909% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
