13 January 2006 FirstGroup plc Buyback of 137,377 ordinary shares FirstGroup plc ("the Company") announces that on 13 January 2006 it purchased137,377 ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 409.8356 pence pershare. The highest price paid was 410 pence per share.
