Legal & General Group PLC02 August 2007 Legal & General Group Plc Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("the Group") has been invited to apply for partnershipshares under the Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") on amonthly basis. On 1 August 2007, each executive director chose to contribute topurchase the following partnership shares: Partnership SharesC. R. R. Avery 92T. J. Breedon 92A. W. Palmer 92J. B. Pollock 92 The Group matched these shares, on a one-to-one basis, up to £20 per month.Accordingly, each executive director, with the exception of J. B. Pollock,received 15 matching shares; J. B. Pollock received 14 matching shares.Differences are due to rounding from previous allocations. The shares werepurchased at a price of 136.1p per share.
