Director's share purchase
IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or the "Company" or the "Group"), the developer of intellectual property based businesses, announces that it has today received notification from Francis Carpenter, a non-executive director of IP Group, regarding the purchase of ordinary shares of 2p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company.
The Company was notified on 4 June 2010 that Mr. Carpenter purchased in aggregate 30,000 Ordinary Shares in IP Group at a price of 37 pence per share, representing 0.01% of the Company's current issued share capital.
Following the purchase, Mr. Carpenter is beneficially interested in a total of 139,151 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.05% of the Company's issued share capital.
