ITE Group PLC ("ITE" or "the Company")
ITE Group PLC has today received notification from HBOS Employee Equity Solutions, trustees of the ITE Group PLC Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), that they have purchased a total of 500,000 ordinary shares in the Company for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Company's employee share ownership schemes, using Trust assets. 250,000 of these shares have been purchased at a price of 165p per share and the remaining 250,000 shares have been purchased at a price of 163.75p per share.
The Directors of the Company have an interest in the above shares by virtue of them being members of the class of beneficiaries of the Trust.
Following this purchase 3,708,893 ordinary shares are held in the Trust, representing 1.46 % of the issued share capital of the Company.
