This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 19 March 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that Sarah Soar, an Executive Director, has today exercised options over 2,500 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 37.5p each pursuant to the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme December 2002 grant, representing 0.0011% of the total issued share capital of the Company

Her resultant holding in ordinary shares in the Company is now 296,841 ordinary shares (representing 0.1290% of the total issued share capital, of these shares 70,319 are nil paid) and the total number of shares over which options are held by her are 118,695 shares.
