DIPLOMA PLC - DIRECTORS' LTIP AWARDS

The Remuneration Committee recommended that the Board approve the following Award under the Diploma PLC 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") to Executive Directors:

BM Thompson	204,748		Ordinary Shares
I Henderson	124,629		Ordinary Shares
NP Lingwood	130,564		Ordinary Shares

The Award made today is subject to performance conditions measured over a three year performance period ending 30 September 2012. A summary of the LTIP, including the performance conditions relating to the Award, will be set out in the 2009 Annual Report of the Company, which will be mailed to shareholders on 30 November 2009.
