Greene King PLC14 September 2007 GREENE KING PLC Notification of interests - directors and persons discharging managerialresponsibilities The Greene King 'Free4All' Employee Profit Share Scheme (the "Scheme") Under the terms of the Scheme, operated by Killik & Co Trustees Limited,eligible employees receive an award of the company's ordinary shares. We have been notified today that the executive directors/persons dischargingmanagerial responsibilities named below, together with some 4,500 employees,were awarded shares on 12 September 2007 and they are therefore deemed to have abeneficial interest in those shares.
