HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd has been informed that on 1 December 2008, Robert Hiscox, Director, acquired 5,932 shares in the Company at an exercise price of £1.576 following the exercise of ShareSave Options under the Hiscox UK (SAYE) ShareSave Option Scheme.

Following the above exercise, Mr Hiscox holds 6,327,050 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 1.72% of the Company's issued share capital.
