Bioquell PLC27 March 2007 TO: COMPANIES ANNOUNCEMENT OFFICEFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 27 March 2007 BIOQUELL PLC Directors' Exercise of Options Directors' Purchase of Shares On 26 March 2007, John Salkeld, Chairman and non-executive director of BIOQUELLPLC ("BIOQUELL" or the "Company"), informed the Company that he had exercised:(1) 25,000 options over BIOQUELL ordinary shares ("Shares") with an exerciseprice of 44p per Share; and (2) 20,000 options over Shares with an exerciseprice of 93.5p. Following exercise of these options, Mr Salkeld holds 2,046,477Shares (approximately 5.0% of the Company's issued share capital). On 26 March 2007, Richard Towner, non-executive director of BIOQUELL, informedthe Company that he had exercised 25,000 options over Shares with an exerciseprice of 44p per share. Following exercise of these options, Mr Towner holds334,369 Shares (approximately 0.8% of the Company's issued share capital). On 26 March 2007, Simon Constantine, non-executive director of BIOQUELL,informed the Company that he had exercised 25,000 options over Shares with anexercise price of 44p per share.
