NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
The Company was notified on 10 May 2016 that on 5 May 2016 Mr Johan Vandermeulen, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, acquired three ordinary shares of 25p each in British American Tobacco p.l.c. (the "Shares") at a price of 4,179.9803 pence per Share as a result of the reinvestment of his dividend income.
Following this transaction, Mr Vandermeulen has a total beneficial and family interest in 17,770 Shares (including 17,443 Deferred Shares).
