F&C Asset Management PLC11 October 2007 RNS Number: F&C Asset Management plc 11 October 2007 F&C Asset Management plc ("the Company") ALLOTMENT OF ORDINARY 0.1pence SHARES RELATING TO THE COMPANY'S REINVESTMENTPLAN As disclosed in the Company's Listing Particulars published in 2004 and theCompany's Annual Report & Financial Statements, the Reinvestment Plan was aone-off plan established at the time of the merger of ISIS Asset Management plcand F&C Group (Holdings) Limited ("F&CGH") to allow employees previouslyemployed by F&CGH to voluntarily re-invest one half of their contractualentitlement of shadow equity, which vested on completion of the merger, intoordinary shares or rights to receive ordinary shares in the Company which veston a phased basis over a period of time. The Company today announces that a total of 7,443,069 Ordinary Shares ("Shares")of 0.1 pence each were allotted to Abacus Corporate Trustee Limited, thetrustees appointed to administer the Company's Reinvestment Plan to 89participants in the plan, including a number of employees deemed by the Companyto be Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility. The Company has today received notification from Messrs Grisay and Logan that,as executive directors of the Company, they have an interest in the shares heldin trust under the Plan.
