Notification of Transaction of Directors/Persons Discharging Material Responsibility and Connected Persons
In accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1), Metric Property Investments plc (the "Company") today announces that on 24 March 2010 it was informed of the following transactions in respect of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to a placing and offer for subscription of Ordinary Shares (the "Issue").
Andrew Huntley, the Chairman of the Company, acquired 100,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Andrew Huntley in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 100,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.06% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Andrew Jones, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and his wife, Rosalind Jones acquired in aggregate 1,962,332 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction the interest of Andrew Jones in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares representing 1.14% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Valentine Beresford, the Investment Director of the Company, his wife, Evelyne Beresford and the trustees of Colonel Silcock deceased (a trust of which Valentine Beresford is a beneficiary) acquired in aggregate 2,037,334 Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Valentine Beresford in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 2,075,000 Ordinary Shares representing 1.19% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Mark Stirling, the Retail Director of the Company acquired in aggregate 1,462,334 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Mark Stirling in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 1,500,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.86% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Sue Ford, the Finance Director and Company Secretary of the Company acquired 50,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Sue Ford in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 50,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.03% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Alexander Pelmore, a Non-Executive Director and the Senior Independent Director of the Company, acquired 75,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Alexander Pelmore in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 75,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.04% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Andrew Varley, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, acquired 50,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Andrew Varley in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 50,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.03% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Philip Watson, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, acquired 100,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 100 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Issue. As a result of this transaction, the interest of Philip Watson in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is 100,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.06% of the issued share capital of the Company.
