Global Petroleum has today announced on the ASX that 143,036 ordinary shares were acquired on 28 May 2010 by Mountainside Investments Pty Ltd, a company associated with Mr Mark Savage, on market at an average price of A$0.13 (approximately 7.5p). Mr Savage has an overall interest in the issued ordinary shares of Global Petroleum Limited of 2,025,000 (1.16 per cent.).
