UMECO PLC22 December 2005 UMECO plc 22 December 2005 Directors/PDMR interests Following an invitation to all eligible employees to apply for options under theUMECO Savings-related share option scheme, options in respect of the followingnumbers of 25p ordinary shares have been granted today to directors & PDMR's: CJ Snowdon 2,524 RJK Beaumont 2,524 AB Moss 2,524 JT Crabtree 2,524 JG Smith 2,524 All of these options have been granted at a price of 370.4p. This price wasdetermined in accordance with the scheme rules, being a 20% discount to themarket value of 25p ordinary shares on the three days prior to the invitationbeing made to employees. These options will be available for exercise betweenFebruary and August 2009.
