Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC27 June 2006 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company announces that on 27 June 2006 it received notice, pursuant to s.324 of the Companies Act 1985, from Mr Greville Vincent Nicholls, a director of the Company, relating to the transfer of 543,202 Ordinary shares of 4p each in the capital of the Company to his wife Mrs Ann Bridget Nicholls. Following the above transaction, Mr Nicholls' beneficial interest in theCompany's shares remains unchanged at 880,652 Ordinary shares of 4p each, whichis equivalent to 1.89% of the Company's issued share capital. Additionally, Mr Nicholls is a director of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited("the Trustee"), the Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers LimitedEmployee Benefit Trust which holds 302,250 Ordinary shares of 4p each in thecapital of the Company. Aggregating his personal holding and that of theTrustee, Mr Nicholls is considered to be interested in 1,182,902 Ordinary shares of 4p each, which is equivalent to 2.54% of the Company's issued share capital.
