Notification under paragraph 3.1.2R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules
Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ('Hill & Smith' or the 'Company') announces that on 23 September 2008 it received notification that on the same day Mr David Grove, Chairman of Hill & Smith, purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 285 pence per share. The place of this transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
Following this transaction, Mr Grove is beneficially interested in 694,969 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.9% of the issued share capital of Hill & Smith, and has options over 12,360 ordinary shares.
