MIAMI, Aug. 2 -- On August 2, 2007, Carnival Corporation & plc was notified that on July 31, 2007, Dr. Modesto Maidique, a member of Carnival Corporation & plc's boards of directors, purchased 250 shares of Carnival Corporation common stock at a price of $45.02 (USD) per share. Following this transaction, Dr. Maidique owns an aggregate of 4,250 shares of common stock.
